About Martin

Founder of O'Hare Engineering Design since 2017

Martin is an accomplished mechanical designer with over 19 years of experience in industrial machinery, environmental services, and chemical manufacturing. He specializes in plant/equipment layout, piping design, and 3D laser scanning.


Martin's passion for engineering began at a young age when he was introduced to Meccano sets. He was fascinated by how things were constructed and how they worked. Inspired by his sister, who pursued a career in chemical engineering,  he pursued a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Aided Engineering at the University of Central Lancashire while also gaining work experience in the chemical industry.


Martin is committed to inspiring the next generation of engineers. He shares his invaluable skills and knowledge through his work and by mentoring young engineers.
